January Tim Holtz Tag

This is my interpretation of Tim Holtz’s January tag.  Of course, I used what I had on hand.  I was just as happy using the Tattered Florals die, since there are several female birthdays coming up.

Materials used:  #8 manila tag/small embossing folders, wing and swirl/Pealed Paint, Broken China, Vintage Photo distress stain/barn door, spun sugar, tea dye distress ink/Tattered Floral die/grungeboard/Melody Ross glass paper clip, K&Company paper/Fiskars Make a Wish Quotes stamps/Visual Artistry, Stampers Anonymous/Vial label/ Idea-ology Foliage /manila folder scrap/ ribbon remnant.

Notes:  I made Tim’s ribbon using a stamp and distress ink.  The color was bright for this tag, so I used it for another tag.  I didn’t have any film reel ribbon, so I used the film stamp, cut out the windows with an exacto knife and put plastic underneath to simulate film.  The “Wish” stamp was in a horizontal line, I cut the letters apart and used them vertically.

Note to self:  Take photos earlier in the day to exclude shadow “ribbons”.

Thank you for taking a peek!

Hugs, Kim
